Gunpowder is a classic tea from Anhui Province with tightly rolled leaves that form shiny pellets of ORGANIC green tea. They produce a dark green cup with a slightly pungent flavor. Use tea sparingly and steep for 1 minute at 180-190 degrees. $3 per person / $6 per pot

LITTLE MELON SEED (Lu An Gua Pian) ORGANIC
This offering is a wonderful competition grade tea from Anhui Province. DRAGON PEARLS
From Fujian Province, our pearls were grown and made by a tea maker we know and have purchased teas from for years. These pearls were plucked in early April and show a downy color over light green leaves. The leaves are highest grade, offering a sweetness that is natural and light. The pearls will unfurl slowly showing delicate leaves and light yellow liquor. $4 per person / $8 per pot
DRUM MOUNTAIN CLOUDS AND MIST
Truly one of China’s finest green teas and becoming increasingly rare! The first impression is the wonderful shape and distinctly sweet aroma of the leaves. It cups to a nectar-like taste, with a finish that lingers sweet and clean. In Fujian Province, this tea is called “Mei Lan Chun and is made with the slow growing varietal, “Mei Zhan”. Clouds and mists that shroud the mountains, producing a compact, very aromatic leaf, nurture growth. Easy to brew and enjoy. The tea is at its best with water temperature well below boiling.
