KEEMUM (Quimen) ORGANIC
Our Keemum is from Anhui Province. Large, elegantly curled leaves that impart a full-bodied, winy flavor and rich amber liquor characterize this ORGANIC black tea. Perfect for breakfast, with or without milk. Steep for 2-3 minutes at 180-195 degrees. $4 per person / $8 per pot
GOLDEN MONKEY (Jin Hou)
Our Monkey has everything a high-grade Fujian black tea should offer. Careful plucking of the leaf and bud, followed by able processing yields a blend of short dark leaves flecked with golden buds. A fun-bodied cup offers rich flavors of malt and a wonderful fragrance. This tea can take milk and sugar. Use 2-3 grams of leaf and steep for 2-3 minutes in water just under boiling. $5 per person / $10 per pot
LAPSAUNG SOUCHANG
Long black strips of leaf have a very distinct aroma and flavor and cup to rich, rust-red liquor. Famous Fujian tea produced by withering leaves over open fires of pine, the taste is smoky and robust. It is hearty and rich, goes well with breakfast, or salty and spicy dishes and goes well with cheese and fruit. $3.50 per person / $7 per pot
EARL GREY

THUNDER CLOUD
Thunder Cloud is a staff favorite. This tea generally is not sold outside of China. Grown on a farm at a comparatively high elevation of 1000 meters, this early harvest leaf is quite distinct in aroma. Thunder Cloud is made from the Mei Zhan varietal, a slow-growing Fujian Province bush whose leaves are typically processed to a high-grade green. Cups to red-orange, clear liquor, aroma has a hint of smoke, is light chocolaty, with a fruity note and a lingering sweetness. For black tea lovers, this is a spectacular tea. $4.50 per person / $9 per pot
